DRCSC, Working on Sustainable Agriculture Practices and Methods since 1982!

 Right Based Programme and Advocacy

We are working for promotion of alternative agriculture along with income security of the farmers in general and of small and marginal farmers in particular and mobilizing the community to access their rights and entitlements for specific government services such as employment, food supplies, primary education and child nutrition.

Implementation Strategy

To implement this programme our team of policy analysts first scout the related Government papers and documents associated with employment, food supplies, primary education and child nutrition. Then they prepare IEC materials required for this purpose and frame the participatory implementation strategy using ARTCs and MCGs through which a majority of the people can be reached.

Impact

The impact of this programme is widespread and covers more than 35000 stakeholders spread over 60 GPs in 9 districts of West Bengal, India.
