DRCSC was organised a workshop with the assistance of Champa Mahila Samity on 'Impact of Climate Change in Sundarban & Livelihood Adaptation' at Basanti, Sundarban on 2nd June, 2022. Officials from line-departments, representatives from DRCSC and Champa Mahila Samity and 200 nearby residents were present in the day-long programme. A rally was organised for the conservation of bio-diversity in Sundarban. Some live models and indigenous seeds were displayed by the Climate Youth Action Group. In the end fruit saplings were distributed to the participants. | |||

| DRCSC has got the opportunity to give support from Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiatives (APPI) for humanitarian response. On 2nd & 3rd July 2021 with support from Hingalganj Block and respective Sandeler Bill, Dulduli & Hingalganj Gram Panchayats,DRCSC provided relief materials to 2110 families covering 13 villages in the earlier mentioned GPs of Hingalganj Block, North 24 Pgs. Through this initiative nearly 10,000 population were benefitted. | |||
